It is time to venture into North Raleigh for a taste of suburban writing. The backyard beckons with rockers and chairs in the gazebo and screened-in porch. Benches dot the grounds, flower beds, birdhouses, water features, and a wild area entice butterflies, bees, lizards, and other critters. If you prefer, there is space inside the house with all the amenities. (Note: We share space with a medium sized, friendly husky who loves people—sometimes too enthusiastically.)
Bring a bag lunch! Breakfast snacks will be provided during the morning meet-and-greet, and beverages will be provided all day long.
After lunch we will have an opportunity to listen to other attendees sharing what they have written, and you can share your own work if you wish!
As this retreat takes place at a private residence, please email Kathy at kjebundy[at]gmail[dot]com for the exact address or private message Kathy or Kim Beall via Facebook (you will have to join the CPWG Facebook group, then click on the list the Facebook group hosts to get in contact): https://www.facebook.com/events/899347475806351

Back to the farm! Come spend time with writerly friends at the lovely TandM Farms in Kittrell, North Carolina. Say hello to both the resident and visiting ruminants. If you get tired of writing, take a walk around the farm and embrace the Summer's heat!
If the heat is oppressive or the weather fervent, we'll be conducting all activities indoors, though plenty of seating will also be available outside for the bravest of us. The fire pit may be blazing, weather dependent.
Location & RSVP: Tandem Farms, 3630 Charlie Grissom Rd, Kittrell, NC 27544 (google map or contact Todd, todd[at]toddwarner.io if you run into problems)
